- Terre d'Argence : ARGENCE Originally from Ligure, the word “argentios”‘s root means « shiny ». This term seems to derive from the aspect of a foliage that used to grow around a hamlet named after it and of which now only remains the Mas of Argence, south of the city of Bellegarde. (cf. Jonquières Saint Vincent de Pierre MAZIER). |
